As an institution of the Town of Phippsburg, the Library gets most of its financial support from taxpayers. But the Library couldn’t exist without the active support of its volunteers, and financial or in-kind donations of goods and services from individual donors or the Friends of the Totman Library help enrich our collection and keep us getting better.

Volunteer
Volunteers are indispensable to the Totman Library operation. Some duties may include staffing the Font Desk, keeping the shelves stocked and organized and answering the patron questions. Others serve on the Board of Trustees, help organize and run Library programs or contribute their time and skills to maintain the Library physical plant.

Donation Books - Main Room
Located in the main room, find our donation book shelf and give a home to a book that has been donated to the Library or retired from circulation. The books are available for a donation, which can be made at the Front Desk.
